Meet Anna

Anna provides Early Intervention Services in Anderson County.

Hi! I’m Anna Keown and I was born and raised in Honea Path, SC. My husband and I  recently moved back to the area after living in California for the past two years! We have two dogs now: Bo, a 7-year-old  Australian/German Shepherd mix who loves playing fetch, and Winnie, a 3-month-old Labrador Retriever who loves naps and snuggles! When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my five nephews at their sporting events or hanging out at home with a good Netflix show, book, and/or yarn and crochet hook!

Background

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Anderson University in Human Development and Family Studies with minors in Christian Studies and Youth Ministry.

I started working in this field while I was still attending Anderson University. At the time, I was an Interim Youth Director at my church with my major being Christian Studies, I fell in love with the family aspect of working with youth and wanted to learn how to do more. I started seeking out a profession more directed towards family services, so I changed my major to Human Development and Family Studies. I quickly found a job as an ABA therapist and worked my way up to Registered Behavior Technician while still in school. Shortly after graduating AU in December of 2021, I applied and began working at TIny Feet as an Early Interventionist in February of 2022. I continued in this field as an Infant Development Specialist while living in California. When we decided to move back to SC, I jumped right back in at Tiny Feet to continue helping children and families impacted by developmental delays and disabilities.
