Meet Anna
Anna provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.
Hey y’all!! My name is Anna and I grew up close by in Powdersville, SC! When I am not working, I am usually hanging out with my family or friends. I have an older brother and 4 younger siblings that are all very little, energetic, and always keep me on my toes! We love going to Lake Keowee and Hartwell to fish, wake surf, and swim. Our family also loves Clemson football and the Carolina Panthers (plus any NFL team that has Clemson Alumni)! A couple of my favorite things are reading, concerts, spending time outside, and coffee!!!
Background
Education:
I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a minor in Youth Development Programming from Clemson University.
Working with kids is what I do best!!! This predominantly comes from the experience of my little siblings. Growing up, I longed to have a younger sibling to love and care for. Thankfully, my wish was granted (x4), and I was able to be involved in each sibling's growth and development. People always say “every kid is different”, and my younger siblings showed me a true example in real life. I saw different challenges in each sibling, and more importantly, different strengths emerge throughout these situations. This is what pulled me to the field of Early Intervention!! Specifically, my younger brother participated in EI services for communication delays, in which my family worked closely with his EI and Speech Therapist. I have seen the fruits of their labor firsthand from this relationship, as it helped support my brother’s development and allowed my family to be an active part of this process. For this reason, I am extremely passionate about providing resources for children to thrive! I love being a part of the role that Early Intervention plays in a child’s life and hope to one day receive further education in Speech Language Pathology!
