  • B.A. in Sociology from Clemson University

 Background:

"After graduating from Clemson (GO TIGERS!) I began working as a case manager for the Department of Social Services. My role there was to help families reunite with their kiddos once it was safe to do so. I have always had a heart for kids and a passion for helping them no matter the odds, so when I made the switch to Early Intervention I found a new love for helping kiddos that I never knew existed. I love seeing kids meet new goals, and light up with pride in their accomplishments! I’m excited to help make that happen for families in the upstate!"

I was nervous when we started our journey with Tiny Feet. I had no idea what to expect. Our EI Anna has been like family since the first time she walked through our door. Our daughter has bonded with her effortlessly. My nonverbal child has gone from not engaging in activities and socialization, to playing well with others and attempting to express herself with sounds and words. She is blossoming right before our eyes and it’s been made possible by the skills we learned from Anna and the wonderful Tiny Feet team.

When our son first started services he was delayed in many areas including socially. It took him awhile to warm up and make progress but Anna was so patient with him. Now he thoroughly enjoys their visits together, looks forward to seeing her and has thrived. We have been able to complete numerous goals and I feel confident that we will be able to complete the new goals we set as well

The connection my son and Anna have formed over the years has helped him meet his goals because he trusts her and feels comfortable with her. Anna is always bringing activities for them to play with or do together. If she brings something he loves, most of the time it is something I can make at home with him so he can have his own. Anna helps my son meet his goals by using play therapy and she celebrates with him when he does the smallest thing. Somehow she can encourage him to keep going and keep trying and it leads to him meeting his goals. Anna and Tiny Feet have always had my son’s best interest at heart and have worked so hard to make sure he has everything he needs to grow and learn. That is why I feel so blessed to have Tiny Feet and our EI, Anna, on our side.
