Meet Brittany

Brittany provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

I am a South Carolina native. I currently live in Travelers Rest, and it’s such a lively place to live! I met my husband Brian in March 2012 through mutual friends, and we got married in Yosemite National Park in September 2018. We cherish our regular Taco Tuesdays and savoring our morning coffee together! We have two cats and one dog that bring us abundant joy with their snuggles and fun personalities. I’m enthusiastic about spending my time outdoors, practicing yoga, fitness, live music, cooking, trying new foods, and spending quality time with my loved ones. A unique fact about me is that I’ve been vegan since May 2020. Yoga and veganism have taught me the values of mindfulness, intentionality, and loving-kindness towards all beings. These values are dearest to my heart and impact the way I love and serve others

Background

Education:

  • I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2015. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology.

I have 8 years of professional experience serving and loving children and families in the Greenville County Community in various capacities. I have two years of experience in case management during my time at the Department of Social Services. I have 1.5 years of experience at Springbrook Behavioral Health serving individuals ages 5-14 on the Autism Spectrum through provision of therapeutic services in a residential setting. I have 4.5 years experience providing therapeutic services to children ages 2-5 with developmental delays and behavior concerns in addition to provision of case management services to families at A Child’s Haven.

I chose to pursue a career in Early Intervention because I have learned the vitality in supporting child development to help children thrive. I love building bonds with the families I serve. I thoroughly enjoy channeling my inner child to connect with children. Nothing fulfills me more than to witness the growth and development in the children I get to serve while knowing I’m part of their success story. It’s such a treasure. I’m grateful for the opportunity to love on so many children and families!
