Meet Cara

Cara provides Early Intervention Services in Spartanburg County.

Hey! My name is Cara and I was born and raised in Chesnee, SC.  I love to travel and go somewhere new as often as I can.  I am a busy body so I love to stay on the move.  One of my favorite places to go would be the mountains up in North Carolina and Tennessee. I also love to listen to all genres of music and craft in my free time.

Education:

• Associates of Arts - Spartanburg Community College

• Bachelors in Early Childhood Education - University of South Carolina Upstate

 I graduated from Upstate back in December of 2021 and I began to do long-term substitute teaching in Spartanburg School District Two. I taught all grades but realized I wanted to make a deeper connection with the kids I worked with and help them more than I could as a teacher.  My daughter received EI services when she was younger and I loved the relationship we had with our EI and I decided I wanted to do that as well because her EI made such a huge difference in our lives and I wanted to do the same for other families.
