Meet Dasia
Dasia provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.
Hello! My name is Dasia Dillard. I was born and raised in Texas but recently moved to South Carolina for a fresh start. I have always cherished children and knew I wanted to work with them since I was roughly 9 years old. I have been working with children since 2015 when I got my first job at the daycare I was raised at; the daycare that made me fall in love with teaching and advocating. Alongside my love of children, I also love baking and exploring this beautiful state. Unfortunately, I currently do not have any children of my own but I can not get enough of my nephew who is one year old, and all the babies that my friends have blessed me with the opportunity to watch grow up. I can not wait to start servicing the families of Tiny Feet and I am excited to see what the future holds.
Background
Education:
Bachelors of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin University
My love of children is what got me started working at the daycare I grew up in right as I graduated high school. This daycare taught me resilience and team playing, which was a blessing for the opportunities presented in the future. After approximately 4 years working on and off at the daycare during college, I decided to move cities and try something new within my social work field. At this time I started a social work internship at a non-profit BCFS which is the place that made me fall in love with parent coaching. Due to moving to South Carolina, I sadly had to decline a job offer at this company due to it being in Texas. Once I got situated into my new home, I found an amazing opportunity to work with adolescents with Autism at Springbrook Mental Health. This job brought me extensive knowledge of what Autism is and how to work alongside an individual with this diagnosis. I knew I had an abundance of love and knowledge to give to others in need, and that is when I found Tiny Feet Early Intervention. I am beyond excited to see where Tiny Feet leads me in the future.
