Meet Destiny
Destiny provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.
Born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina, I recently moved to the area and have enjoyed becoming part of the community. I bring over five years of experience supporting children and families across summer camps, preschool, childcare, and public education. My background includes summer camp leadership, babysitting, two years in preschool, and 2.5 years teaching third grade in public school.
I am especially passionate about intervention work, emotional development, and meeting children where they are. I loved the intervention side of teaching and am excited to use my skills at Tiny Feet Early Intervention, partnering closely with families to support whole-child growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
Personally, I am a newlywed and bonus mom to a nine-year-old who values a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Outside of work, I enjoy lifting, staying active, traveling, staying organized, and spending quality time with family. I believe small, intentional steps create lasting change for children and the people who love them.
Background
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Coker University
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Coker University, where I ran track and cross country while working in preschool and gaining hands-on experience. I completed my student teaching locally and transitioned directly into a full-time teaching position after graduating in December 2022.
Following graduation, I taught third grade for 2.5 years at Bay Road Elementary School in Hartsville, South Carolina, within Darlington County Schools. During this time, I strengthened my skills in individualized instruction, intervention strategies, and family collaboration, which I am excited to continue applying at Tiny Feet Early Intervention.
