Meet Janie

Janie provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

I was born and raised in Greenville SC, but went away to college at the University of the South Sewanee in TN. While at Sewanee, I was on the cross country and track team. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, going to the lake, and spending time with friends and family.

Background

Education:

• Bachelors of Science in Psychology

I grew up alongside two brothers who both struggled with learning disabilities, one of which is ten years younger than me. Being part of both of their journeys and remediations taught me the importance of early intervention as well as compassion and empathy. In highschool and during college breaks, I spent time volunteering at a school for children with language based learning differences often resulting in behavioral disorders and developmental delays. I am excited to be a part of the process of helping families best support their child to both realize and reach their fullest potential!
