Meet Jessi
Jessi serves as Tiny Feet's Manager of Training, where she supports the growth and development of our Early Interventionists through our Tiny Feet Training Academy. She enjoys helping team members build confidence in their skills so they can provide the highest quality support to the children and families we serve.
“Hey! I grew up in Charleston, SC, but moved to the Upstate in 2011. My husband and I have two daughters, two dogs, and one cat, so our house is loud, busy, and fueled by snacks and coffee. When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me spending time with my friends and family, watching movies, playing board games, listening to music, glamping, or planning our next Disney trip. If I'm not working, there's a good chance I'm either planning a Disney trip...or recovering from the last one. I firmly believe laughter makes almost everything better, so don't be surprised if I try to sneak a joke into the conversation.”
Background
Education:
B.S. Social Work at Walden University
"Prior to completing my BSW, I worked as a Radiologic Technologist in a local hospital. My daughter, Zoe, inspired me to go back to school and make a career change. After struggling to have children, we had our miracle baby in 2018. She was born at 25 weeks gestation and spent 159 days in the NICU. We prayed a lot and ultimately felt that God was telling us this is where I was meant to be. She has had a long journey in her life so far. Zoe receives Early Intervention services, so I understand the parent’s view on how these services help children with developmental delays. I strongly believe that having a personal connection with how early intervention works will help me be a strong support for our Tiny Feet team and the families we serve! I was blessed to find Tiny Feet Early Intervention as my internship agency while pursuing my degree! I genuinely love helping our team grow. Watching someone build confidence, discover their strengths, or have that "I've got this!" moment is one of my favorite parts of my job. If we can support our team well, they'll continue making an incredible impact on the families we serve, and that's what it's all about!”
