Meet Lacey
lacey provides Early Intervention Services in Spartanburg County.
Hi!! I am so excited to meet and work alongside your family in Tiny feet!! I was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and I’ve always had a heart for working with children. Being able to support kids as they grow, learn, and gain confidence is something that truly means a lot to me. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my precious dog Nellie, spending time with family and friends, golfing, and shopping! I also love to travel and try new things! I love finding simple moments that bring joy and balance to my life.
Background
Education:
I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Lander University in Human Services with a minor in Family and Child Studies. I am currently going back to school to pursue my second Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Columbia College online.
My passion for early intervention comes from wanting to be a positive and supportive presence in the lives of children and their families. I believe that the early years are so important, and I feel honored to be part of that journey. I bring over 7 years of experience working in a variety of child care settings, including as a summer camp counselor, daycare teacher, afterschool counselor, and babysitter. These experiences have allowed me to work with children of different ages, needs, and personalities, helping me become patient, adaptable, and understanding in my approach. My background in human services and child development has given me a strong foundation, but what drives me most is seeing the progress children make and the confidence it builds not just in them, but in their families too. I strive to create a caring, encouraging environment where every child feels supported and every family feels heard.
