Meet Lauren

Lauren provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

Hello! My name is Lauren Todd, and I am originally from Augusta, GA. While not at work, you can find me reading and writing, playing guitar and singing, or engaging in other creative outlets like painting. While many would disagree with me, I also believe cardio is fun and necessary! One of my favorite things to do is getting to spend time with family and friends. I also love to travel and attend concerts/shows in my free time.

Background

Education:

  • I graduated from Augusta University with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Levels Education, and I graduated from University of South Carolina - Aiken with my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

Throughout my experience as a teacher, tutor, and school librarian/media specialist, I have developed a love and a passion for working with children! Working with children is truly heart work, and it is so rewarding! One of my favorite quotes by C.S. Lewis declares, “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” Children need to know that they matter. They need to know that their needs matter too. I love showing up to work every day knowing that I am supporting children and helping them reach both their academic and personal goals. I have high hopes for early intervention as I embark on this new journey!
