Meet Liz

Liz provides Early Intervention Services in Spartanburg County.

Hi! My name is Liz Stevens and I was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. Family is a big priority in my life because the support of those closest to you truly does take you far in life. I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children. Being able to brighten someone’s day or improve their quality of life is something that brings me great joy. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces I have the pleasure of working with and their families is always the highlight of my day! My hobbies include going to the gym, shoe shopping, art projects, spending time with family and friends, and getting my nails done. I try to demonstrate resilience, compassion, empathy, and optimism in all that I do, so that I make a difference in this world.. I am excited to be a part of a team here at Tiny Feet where we do such great things for families and children!

Background

Education:

  • Currently working on my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) through the University of South Carolina Columbia; Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in psychology, business, and sociology from the University of South Carolina - Upstate

I am a proud advocate of seeking support and guidance in the community. In Early Intervention, we work to understand, support, and guide children and families on an individualized basis towards success. Once I began nannying, I became an active member in her adoption process where I saw social services and early interventionists working to ensure she was set up with the best support to thrive. Every week, I would watch her make small improvements and now she is meeting every milestone with flying colors. More importantly, her parents feel equipped to best serve her needs and are supported by individuals like myself who love their family. The involvement of family and support is detrimental to the success of a child. What an honor it is to be an active member in the lives of so many children through early intervention services!
