Meet Meredith

Meredith provides Early Intervention Services in Anderson County.

“I grew up in Birmingham, AL, aka the Magic City! I journeyed to the Upstate to continue my education by attending Anderson University. I enjoy hiking, climbing, running, swimming, or anything that allows me to be outside. I am ALWAYS looking for a good book, even though my “to-read” list is probably too long already! I love kombucha and butterflies and the smell of gardenias. More than anything, I always want to be with people who make me laugh!”

Background

Education:

  • B.A. Human Development and Family Studies from Anderson University

“I have always known that I wanted to help people. I began college as a Biochemistry major on  a path to do disease research. I loved the school-part, but knew that long term I cared more about being WITH the people I was helping. My combined passion for research-based science and people made Human Development a perfect course of study. I chose early intervention because of the ways I am able to apply the strategies I learned in school while seeing tangible growth in the kids. More than anything, Early Intervention helps kids and families succeed and achieve their dreams. Could there be anything better??”
