Meet Naomi

Naomi provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County.

Hello! My name is Naomi Aviles. I was born in West Palm Beach, FL but have lived most of my life in Greenville, SC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I love to travel, watch movies, and make art. Before graduating I had the opportunity to participate in a short study abroad trip to Amsterdam and Paris, but going back to South Florida will always be my favorite kind of trip. I have a huge passion for cultural awareness and celebration! You will definitely see me at cultural festivals for the awesome music and delicious food. I love spending time with my family playing board games and video games, watching movies, or relaxing with some coloring books.

Background

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration from University of South Carolina-Upstate.

I have been serving children, ages 0-5, since I was 12 years old through my church’s nursery. My favorite so far has been working with the newborns, but I am excited to engage with these bright personalities that the 2’s and 3’s are guaranteed to bring. Due to my mother being a second grade teacher, I have been raised with a love of learning and the magic of creativity. My father, through being a high school SPED teacher, has taught me the value of treating everyone with empathy, dignity, and respect. Thanks to my loving parents I have a firm foundation that has inspired me to pursue Early Intervention. A beautiful mixture of education, advocacy, and love for each child.
