Meet Rhonda
Rhonda provides Early Intervention Services in Greenville County
Hi! My name is Rhonda! I was born in Greenville, SC but grew up in Rock Hill, SC after being adopted at the age of 6, and relocated to Greenville, SC after reuniting with my biological family at the age of 18. Between my adopted and biological families, I have grown to have a better understanding of navigating life during difficult times. Spending the first few critical years of my life in foster care has made me incredibly resilient, and has driven my passion to support and uplift families in times of uncertainty and constant change. I love to travel, cook, serve with my church within the community, and do almost anything near a body of water. I also am an avid foodie and will travel miles to try out a new restaurant. I don’t have children yet, but I have 19 nieces and nephews whom I absolutely adore!
Background
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with concentrations in social work and sociology from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
During my Junior year at USC, I took a class called Developmental Psychology and absolutely loved everything about it! What stood out to me in particular was the life stage of infancy and childhood, how babies learn to walk, talk, think, and form relationships. After graduating, I began a career in ABA as a Registered Behavior Therapist working with children, ages 3-13, on the autism spectrum. Working one-on-one with these beautiful children taught me more than just the basics of behavior. It’s shown me the power of small victories and the importance of consistency and compassion. More than anything, working as an RBT has confirmed my passion for helping to empower families with tools and support that truly make a difference in their daily lives. I am so blessed to be on this journey with TIny Feet and am excited to positively impact the lives of children and their families!
